As a rule if there is a place to drill a hole for the exhaust vent it will be a label on the interior wall. Great care should be taken when putting a 4” hole in the side of an RV. Lots of measuring, taa sad king into account any hardware on the exterior.

I would drill a 1/4” pilot hole, then put a layer of tape on the exterior before drilling and would start from the exterior.
