Yes! In this position the front landing gear and front axle are overloaded. Trailer manufacturers use the minimum rated equipment they can to keep their cost down. The trailer is designed to be supported in three places .... pin box or landing gear, front axle and rear axle. Take away any one of these and the others will be overloaded even if the trailer is fairly empty. You may get away with this for awhile but sooner or later something will give. You might want to try jack stands to the rear axle spring mounts but remember the angle is pushing extra weight forward to the front legs. JM2¢, Hank
