50 amp service on 30 amp TT

Hi all thanks for the tips and tricks.

I'm wondering about using 50 amp service for my 30 amp rig. It seems whenever I use the 30 amp hook up I more than often trip the 30 amp breaker outside. At one campsite all they had was a 50 amp lot, so I always keep an adapter for such occasions.

Well, never trip a breaker the whole 2 days we were there.

At a new site today. Plugged into the 30 amp service. Tripped the outside breaker when using A/C and microwave within 30 sec. Plugged in my 50 amp adapter. No issues.

TT is a 05 Hornet with no electrical issues since we owned it 2012?

Could this cause an issue using the 50amp service on my rig. Really tired of going outside to flip the breaker.

Thx, in advanced.
