Our male Yellow Lab (110#) rides in the air conditioned comfort of the rear seat. We fold the seats up and install a padded wooden platform that I constructed over the storage trays under the seat. He is tethered to the seat frame so he can't get into the front seat. He lays on his padded bed with his head on the console. Likes the a/c blowing on his face. Of course, he is more like our third kid than a dog. Wouldn't think of having him ride in the trailer.
