When you get ready to upgrade your truck don't fix yourself on the 2500. I just did that. Went from my 1500 to a HD 2500. Didn't want either a 2500 or 3500 because they ride is just so rough (bad back). 3500's were about the same price (depending on trim) but went with the 2500 thinking I wante the better ride?. Now, after 5,000mi on the truck I think I should have just went with the 3500. I don't keep the tires at 80psi and the ride is much better. The 3500 would have been the same plus I would have picked up a lot of towing and payload capacity. Just something to think about when the time comes.
