Look at the trailer side, and you will notice some if not all the contacts are pushed against the side of the connector. and every so often I take a small screw driver and pry the contacts so there is a gap on both sides of the connector. Makes the connection between the trailer and the TV much tighter and usually solves my issues with some finicky lights.
