If it's one of those "Carolina Carports" be sure where the height is measured. It may be next to the side wall, which would make it a good bit higher in the middle. You may be able to go with what they call 12ft tall. It could be 12ft next to the sidewall, and 13ft 6in in the middle. Measure your RV very carefully and get the carport salesman to explain exactly where the dimensions are.
Don't overlook the sidewall to roof braces.
