I looked up and SS 454 truck spec and found 230 horsepower at 3,600 rpm and 385 foot-pounds of torque at 1,600 rpm.

The specs on my Godzilla 7.3L gas: Power. 430 hp @ 5500 rpm.
Torque. 475 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm.

May not be the same trailer, but these specs are less than the race trailer we pull regularly with a 7.3L.

New gas truck engines are not diesel by any stretch, but they also don't compare to older generation engines either. Naturally it all depends on what you plan to pull. I prefer DRW for a heavy trailer or trailer with large sail. The drive axle weight rating on the 2022 F-350 is 9900 lbs.
