We were between Barstow and Needles California about 3 weeks ago and pulled off into a truck stop out in the middle of nowhere for a bathroom break. Thank goodness we didn't need fuel. Their diesel price was $6.17 a gallon!!!! We winter in Yuma and I guarantee you we will not be driving anywhere in California unless we can make the round trip without needing fuel.
