My understanding is they also need a separate fuel pump, vapor return and must be a closed system. Diesel would be easier for sure. But my DW despises every aspect of a diesel. The fuel and exhaust smell, the clattering, the fear of an engine failure, you name it. She started reading up on some of it. So, I'll order a F350 SRW with the highest payload, the 7.3l engine and the 4:30 gear ratio. We never plan on any 5th wheel longer than 35' or heavier than 16k lbs. And quite honestly I'd bet fully loaded for us will be a touch over 14k lbs. We'll have more than enough truck for our purposes.
