In our case, ours isn't a dedicated tow vehicle. It gets driven many more miles as a "grocery getter" than towing. Neither of us cared for the height and ride of any of the 3/4 tons, so we selected a TT that "grocery getter" would accommodate.
I guess you could say, it's all about priorities.
