I have this USB<> OBDII adapter and use
FORscan, which is an amazing program, not only can you read/clear codes, but you can actually change the programming of various modules in your Ford car/truck.
I plan to use it to kill the seat-belt minder chime and reset the BMS, now that I have replaced the battery, among other things.
