Well I was having fun, yes, but just trying to figure this out...and did...because I knew this was not possible - as I took off down he road yesterday for second time w trailer in about 3 weeks, and was now getting 35+mpg. LOL...this cannot be.
I've had this truck for 6 years now and have messed with the digital info gauge countless times and can say I never reset mpg to kpg...which is exactly what happened...and I did it just after hooking up my first 7400lb trailer. LOL. What timing.
It's hard to see the little legend on the gauge when looking out a bright windshield and it never occurred to me that it changed for any reason because my mind is on the trailer. Don't know how it changed but I must have pushed something.
Anyways, I know you were all hoping I stumbled across a new law of physics but did not. I stumble across and old law of physics. LOL
