What does "dual max load" actually represent with tire load ratings?
When a tire manufacturer stamps "single max load" and "dual max load" ratings on its tires, is it in reference to dual axles with 1 tire on each side of the axle? Or is it in reference to 2 tires on each side of the same axle? As I research tire load capacities, should I be concerned with only the "single max load" rating on my dual axle travel trailer?
