I bought an RVS "wired rear camera system" in 2010. It's been installed on 3 different tow vehicles and on two different fifth wheels. It works as well today as it did the first day I installed it and I've never had a "dropped signal" a "blurry signal" or a "non-viewable image". While probably not for everyone, it is the most reliable, dependable rear camera system I've ever used or even read about. YMMV
