Something to keep in mind is the "cents off per gallon" and "percent off purchase"... At 3.499 per gallon, a 10 cents off per gallon makes it 3.399 per gallon. That same gas at 5% cash back has a net cost of 3.324 per gallon.

So watch the discounts, cents per gallon and percentage per dollar are not equal. The more expensive fuel becomes, the more dramatic the difference will be.
