Welcome to the forum 
We use non skid tread on the sides. I suppose it would work for the top too. We place a Piece of 2” wide 3” long strips spaced near the top/bottom. Clean the membrane real good before you stick it. Can’t say we’ve ever had to put a strip on the top.
