There are limitless ways to damage your truck or trailer...all of them due to user error. Know your limitations, pay attentions, use a spotter if necessary, and don't be in too big of a hurry. If you feel better with a slider hitch then get one. I've never had one and don't plan to. Just be careful, safe, and enjoy the ride.
