I thought my 1\2_ton F 150 was fine for towing until I educated myself with the advise of my fellow forum members who shared their expert knowledge. There is no comparison when towing with a 3/4 ton F 250 Super Duty. I have not regretted the extra expense one bit when I upgraded. In fact, I can't wait to hook up next week.
