I have to be honest, reading this thread before we went camping for the first time with the new trailer, I thought; seriously? How big of an issue can this be? I have never had this issue. Well, it turns out that I never had an issue with my old-school Carefree of Colorado manual awning, but now this new Solera power awning is a different story. Banged my head three times, got a series of lumps and one good cut on my scalp. It’s pool noodle time for me now!
