Another yes on the extension; we carry 2 water hoses and 2 dump hoses, along with the ubiquitous clear elbow for checking.
I allow the blank tank to rinse, then close the gate and nearly fill it. Do as many times as necessary until water runs clear and nothing else comes out. then add chemical and bag of ice down toilet and drive home. (this scrubs & cleans the bottom of the tank)
