Could be. My last house I put 8’ garage doors in, they had to be special ordered and weren’t cheap. When I built my current garage/workshop I was limited on height so had to go with a standard 7’ door. My Silverado barely clears, I’ve had an F250 that I had to push the garage door up, needed an extra 1/4” clearance, and a Ram that I had to drop the air in the tires down to 15 psi to clear. I don’t know about the new body style GM trucks, they look like they could sit slightly taller than my 2019. I can see this as a very frustrating situation for many people.
