As to Sourdough changing battery at three years, he might change his tune if and when he has a diesel, as we have two batteries, about $390 for the pair.

If and when I have a diesel, and I may soon, the cost of replacing the batteries every 3 years is of no concern to me. I value my time highly, my irritation time even higher - battery cost doesn't figure in.
