Well not all 250/2500's follow the same rules! In 2020 and 2021 GM and Ford increased the GVWR of their "3/4 Ton" trucks, from the Class 2 limit of 10,000#, to around the 11,000# range, moving them into the "One Ton" Class 3, while labeling them 250/2500's!

Next time you are looking at 250/2500 look at the GVWR, then look at the payload.
