Separately, do you guys know what kind of a hit you take to gas mileage going from SRW with 3.55 to DRW with 4.10? 10%? 20%?
For reference, I average about 18-20 in my SRW when driving normally. I'm guessing that cuts in half when towing. |
I have a 2017 F350 DRW Dually.....front tires at 80 psi, back tires at 65psi. Mine is a Lariat, Fx4 version and I pull a Keystone Avalanche 396BH 5th wheel which is at 16,500 GVWR and I believe around 13800 Dry Weight.
My truck handles payload absolutely no problem but mine may be 3k or so lighter than a Toy Hauler version.
Towing in TX and TX hill country I am getting 9-10 mpg ......and when not towing, more around 15 mpg.
