HA, HA! I can just hear it now...It's August, hot humid day and night. A coup[le pull in to a campground feeling good about their new truck and new trailer how proud they are of their contribution to the environment by having such a "small carbon foot print". The brochure said they could go 350 miles on a single charge but 100 miles into the trip the "low battery, charge now" light started flashing. I guess their 10K trailer placed a big strain on that driving range. So they find a campground and pull into a 50 amp premium site.

DW "When can we turn on the A/C it's hot in here!"
DH "Sorry honey, the Hummer is charging."
DW "SO?"
DH "So if the Hummer is charging we can't plug in the trailer."
DW "But when will the Hummer be finished charging?"
DH "Tomorrow."
DW "But we leave tomorrow"
DH "Sorry, but the Hummer has to charge so we can leave tomorrow"
DW "So we spent tens of thousands of dollars on camper that we can't plug in because the truck that cost us six figures is charging?"
DH "I can get the generator started but we'll have to shut it off soon at quiet time"
DW "And tell me why we didn't just drive the Prius and stay in a hotel? At least then we would have had air conditioning" "And not only that, I wouldn't have to cook, wash dishes, make beds, yada,yada,yada...."

Yup, sounds like a winner!
