I put a 36 gal tank from Northern tool in my truck. I had to weld a 1/2" fitting in the bottom plus a 1/4" vent in the top. I put in a 1/2" ball valve then a 1/2" electric fuel valve. After that a 1/2"tee in which the bull head leads up to the vent. All of the fittings are brass. From the outlet of the tee I used 3/8" fuel line down to the fuel filler line. Mine used 1 1/2" ID hose. I cut the line and used a 1 1/2" x6" nipple with a 1/2" coupling welded. I've used it for 10 months now and it works great. I also have a switch in the cab to control it. Including the tank I have less then $400 into it.
