The payload number is specific to each vehicle. It is located on a sticker inside the drivers door. You can’t trust generic numbers on the internet because they reflect the marketing strategy of the manufacturer. The numbers on line usually represent a stripped down single cab gas engine truck with the max tow and payload package possible.
