Russ, I think they do it blindly. Too many examples on here of the salesman said, the advertising brochure said, and I thought for it to be anything else.
People believe what they want to hear, dont hear what they dont want to hear, get PO'd when they are told the truth, and live with the nagging feeling in the back of their heads trying to deny that they may be wrong. Been there. Done that. Got the t-shirts.
