I can say that the dealership I bought my travel trailer did ask about my tow vehicle. They wanted to know the type and asked more than once what the tow capacity is. I think the difference between that dealership and others (which was mentioned earlier)is the fact that they are a gmc dealer also. So I agree with it all depends if they sell more than just campers.
