Canyonlands will be nowhere near as crowded as Zion or Bryce. Definitely another great area to explore. If you're interested in Puebloan ruins and Indian culture, I'd suggest touring around Blanding and Monticello. Edge of the Cedars State Park is very interesting. There are several unique ruins around the Bears Ears National Monument as well. One place we really enjoyed was Hovenweep National Monument. Hovenweep campground makes it an easy 2 day stay with the RV. You might also give Monument Valley a thought.
All suggestions will be significantly less populated with people.
