Hoping you stay safe and well also! We all view this "thing" in our own way and take whatever precautions we deem necessary for ourselves. Don't know that there is a right or wrong way to approach it. I do know I worry more about "the one" that's going to get me being a drunk driver in the oncoming car vs this - but to each his own.
