Our 2012 Montana came with the Dexter forward only self adjusting brakes, and they only adjust when the adjuster mechanism moves far enough to turn the wheel one notch, and the brakes last quite a while. It's possible on regular non-auto adjusting brakes that they last longer because they aren't adjusted when needed and they aren't working as well as they should be. Not having to worry about getting brakes adjusted every 3,000 miles is a big plus, so enjoy the self adjusting brakes.
