Buy a clear 45 or 90 degree fitting, place it on the rv sewer connection then connect your 3" hose, add ice &/or chemicals whichever makes you feel good, then pull the handles, drain/flush, once you don't see anything running through that clear fitting the tanks are empty, then close the handles & FORGET about the worthless sensors.
