I need your opinion

When I purchased my fifthwheel, I had a short bed truck. The pinbox was removed and a Reese Sidewinder was installed. Several months later, I purchased another truck with a standard bed, the hitch was reinstalled in that truck. Now the sidewinder is no longer level between the hitch and the
5er (new truck is taller). After making a few adjustments, the sidewinder is about 5 degrees off center. The sidewinder slants higher from the hitch back lower towards the 5er. I called the tech at Reese and was told, the sidewinder should be level, however a certain amount of variation is permissable. I called a tech at CW and he agreed. I checked out a video on the Reese sidewinder, between the thickness of the swivel tube and the torqued bolts, it seems the sidwinder could handle a lot of stress when not riding level. I have an appointment at CW to change back to the original pin box. Am I doing an overkill? Or should I just trust the techs and leave the sidewinder in place. Thanks in advance.
