I've installed two dryer vents in two different 5ers. Like the guy said, figure out where you want the 4" hole. I used a small finish nail to drive in a little bit around the circumference of the 4" to make sure you don't hit a stud. If you don't hit a stud, DRILL! Should be good to go. I wouldn't care for a ventless dryer.
