We do not have a DRW, only SRW, but this is how ours is set up in an 8' bed. It puts the pin over our axle. The right edge of the picture is the cab of the truck, and we have the bolts "middle height" (top bolts are 1 hole down from the top). I have had plenty of room turning and backing with no worries with it set this way. The only concern my hubby has is when I back up to the 5'er with the tailgate down and get hooked up, there is only about 3-4 inches clearance between front of 5'er basement storage and the laying down tailgate. I just make sure to back straight up to it, or we close the tailgate after the pin box clears the tailgate line so there's no worries of a tailgate poking the camper.
