Same goes for "offroad" diesel, it's the exact same as the regular diesel other than a red dye is added at the loading rack. It's only an indicator that road tax has not been paid, thus "offroad" use.
I mistakenly filled up with offroad diesel, went in to tell the girl behind the counter while this old guy with his hands in his coveralls is telling me "you're gonna burn that SOB up, that fuels too hot for yer truck son!", to which I said "I don't think that red dye has much effect on the engine but it'll stain the hell out of your work boots!".
