That coastal area from Houston to Corpus Christi used to be home to huge ranches. It has its' own type of beauty..open prairie with motts of oak trees. Our next trip may be over there and to Gonzales.
Dirt tracks...I have tickets and a camping spot for the Knoxville Nationals. We went last year and watched Kyle Larson kick butt; just like he did in the spring race there. Diesel fuel bill will be a killer though. Probably take the Bigfoot since Betty isn't going.
