This is just a "last ditch try" before you find another service center to work on the refrigerator. It's obviously not within specs or it would be freezing food in the bottom of the refrigerator when set on the coldest settings. So, you're right, your dealer isn't doing you any favors....

Before you take it back in (or find someone else to repair it) turn it off, open the doors and let it sit without power overnight. Then, close the doors, put the temperature adjustment on the middle setting and turn the refrigerator on. Let it "do its thing" for 24 hours and check the temperature in the refrigerator. You might find putting the remote from an "indoor/outdoor" thermometer will give you the temps without opening the door to check (and losing cold air which invalidates the temps).

Sometimes, when set to the coldest settings an absorption refrigerator will "percolate itself into a vapor lock" and cause the system to no longer cool efficiently. While this may very well not be what's wrong with your refrigerator, at least trying to allow the system to reset and return to "normal" may be all that's needed.

If that doesn't help, if I were you, I'd discuss the problem with the service manager, not the service writer and try to reach an understanding of what your complaints are. That refrigerator should easily maintain freezer temps at "near zero" and refrigerator temps of 35, even with ambient temperatures near the 100 mark. Something's not right with yours and the dealer needs to "step up to the plate" to fix it.
