Just purchaes a 2014 Keystone Hideout 30 ft. Dry weight of trailer 6500lbs.
Tried pulling with my 2009 Chevrolet 1500 CREW CAB 4WD with 5.3 liter. Did great until I went to the North Georgia Mountains was really a strain on truck.
Had to trade trucks, ha, ha. live and learn!!!
Now tow with a 2014 Dodge Ram 2500HD 4WD with Cummings 6.7 automatic.
Crew cab . Big differnce in pulling and going down mountains now. NO PROBLEM. GLAD TO BE A MEMBER / GREAT SITE
