I bought a set of no-drill and bolted them to the fenders, and then bought Rock Tamers when we bought our Fifth wheel. I plan to fill in the center section of them as well. Besides rocks, I want to reduce the water spray being directed to the front of the trailer. There are open areas around the landing gear, propane tanks, battery/hydraulic pump compartments. I think it makes a difference. My trailer is older and I try and protect it.
