From memory I believe Verizon has the best coverage nationally of any carrier. I've used them all over the years but I've been with Verizon probably a decade. I just haven't had any issues with coverage to speak of compared to other carriers I've used. I also use a Visible plan for my hotspot and unlimited data. Just got it last summer and so far so good.
