Check all the connections on the remote unit, the connections on the back of the awning switch on the control panel. If they are tight, you may have in "in line fuse" on the switch (usually located in the red wire connected to the top of the switch).

Sometimes the vibration caused by towing will loosen the contacts on the wiring at the remote unit in the front compartment of your trailer. Inspect that unit carefully, you may also find a "burned component" indicating a failed electronics card. Then the decision becomes: Do I just use the remote or do I buy a new remote unit for $300?

But before you get that far, check for a "hidden fuse" behind the manual switch and check that all the connections are tight and not corroded.
