On my 2021 F250 you can use Android Auto with whatever maps service you want, as long as its downloaded on your smartphone. I have a Samsung S9+ and have Waze & Google Maps.
I download different map apps to find a more intuitive one that I like.
When you plug your USB phone cord into the console port of your truck it should take you to your default map. Than you have the option to have apps displayed and choose again whatever you have downloaded.
Maybe update your Android Auto.[emoji6]
