Used to be rv parks tried to make sights "nice" for the prospective traveler. Now with the exploding number of RVers they are just worried about how many "can I pack in". Case in point;

We stay in this park every year and reserve the same site; large, open and lots of room. The new owner said she was going to improve the park, add lots of sites, new swimming pool etc. The sites were to be 35' wide. Around Thanksgiving I asked if I could see the plans. Hmmm, the widest site was 26'. Then across the front there were to be 7 sites; that changed to 9 because, she said, she could "fit" more in. Now they're going to be tight and short trying to "pack" them in. Some of the new sites are in; plowed in water, power, sewer and TV. the ground is just sand leveled with the scoop of a front end loader....they are packing in before roads get made or anything else. Not sure what the future holds for RV parks.
