When we go to Pagosa we stay in a condo in the past few years. Sportsmen's is a nice place but it's a bit of a drive out there - but the road is good. In years past there has been some great fishing on Williams Creek.

There are a couple of places right on 65? E of Pagosa that are nice for RVs. When we took our RV up there several years ago we stayed over close to South Fork at one of the campgrounds on the river. I was just wandering around year before last and found an RV campground on the South Fork highway just before you get to the falls on the left back in the forest. It might be something you are interested in but I think it was probably dry camping. I can try to get the info if it sounds like something you would want to do.

Note: It's not hwy 65 it's hwy. 160.
