They also took the fittings off and put the spigot in them to rinse them off. Ack! Thanks for sharing (I think). I always run the water at the spigot a bit before hooking up water hose, but that's been to get out any rust and such that's accumulated in the line or any bugs that have crawled into end of spigot (at the house we sometimes have spiders that like to hang out in there).
