Brant there are 2 schools of thought on that. I balance my tires; I do not balance them with the sensors on. They weigh less than a fly's butt and I figure when I took them in for balancing they would either break them or lose them like they always do with valve stem caps. At $62 per TPMS cap I'm good. The sensor weight isn't enough to worry about.
