The Atwood stove top owner's manual has a caution about using a skillet/pan larger than 10". They claim (if I remember correctly) that a larger pan will trap heat under it and damage the stove top. So, even cooking on medium heat, if the pan is too large..... Hopefully your dealer will step up, but don't be surprised if they don't.....
